Lady Alyne de Creke and Sir John de Creke - Brass, 1325, St. Mary the Less Church, Westley Waterless, Cambridgeshire.
Details: Veil and wimple; kirtle with trim at wrist, embroidered hem; sideless surcoat embroidered at armscye and hem; embroidered mantle, held with tasseled cord across chest; shoes with pointed toes. (some of my observations are based on a photo of the full-length brass.)
Sir Geoffrey Luttrell Armed by His Wife and Daughter - Luttrell Psalter, c. 1335.
Details: Orange kirtle; parti, heraldic, sideless surcoat with train; looped braids in front of ears; circlet.
Lady Maude de Foxle - Brass, 1378.
Details: Striped ground-length kirtle, sleeves extend over hand, buttons to elbow (perhaps higher); cotehardi: richly patterned (heraldic?), calf-length, buttons from neck to hip level, short sleeves to lower bicep; knee-length attached tippets; gauffered headdress; shoes with pointed toes.
Eleanor Parys - Brass, 1400.
Details: Kirtle, sleeves button from shoulder down to hem, sleeves extend over hand; cotehardi buttons from neck to at least thigh level; integral tippets hang to the inside of the arm, may be an unbuttoned sleeve.
